Better made than the old model
I got this game when my antique set would not hold the legs when I played Cootie with my grandchildren. These are not the best quality, but considering availability they are the only Cootie game in town. Younger kids will enjoy playing the game. Yes, the design is goofy. But, the game is functioning. I am going to give the old set to an antique collector I know. It would make a good display piece on the original box with the parts super glued in.

Fun, develops fine motor skills, game concepts and building concepts
This game is pretty cool, easy and fun for a kid, aged 3 years +.There are 4 matching coloured head and bodies. However the legs are not in batches of four. In fact in my kid’s game, there are 2 sets of green legs (each set has 6 legs). There are 2 sets of purple legs, again each set has 6 legs. Each set of legs contain a slightly different style of legs. Each set of legs has its own shoe style also. The yellow parts include four different tongues and 4 different antennae/head accessories. The 4 different pairs of eyes are pretty easy to spot.Once you grasp this, you won’t be confusingly looking for 4 differently coloured batches of legs, antennae and tongues, (which I did at first). So there will not likely be any matching coloured legs, body, head, antennae and tongues. It makes for vivid, creative spikes in your kids’ imagination when constructing the bugs. The eyes tended to be a tad difficult to fasten but generally the parts fit snugly together and are equally easy to disassemble.Taking turns to spin the wheel to see what image and body part you get to select is also visually appealing and easy for youngsters to follow. The game is quick and not dragged out so the younger ones’s attention spans are not compromised. My 5 year old daughter loves playing this game. She daily asks her dad and I to play it with her. It has become one of her fast favourites.A good deal !

Fun game for preschoolers
This was a great price for this Cootie game/activity. It’s a classic for preschoolers. It’s a good way to teach them turn taking.
