No estaba seguro de comprarlo y si era necesario, junto con el filtro , lo mejor para reducir el ruido en mis monitores de Audio Yamaha.

I bought two of these to use with my desktop audio system. I'll be using one with my Woo Audio WA6 tube amplifier, the other with an Emotiva XDA-2 Gen 2 DAC. I had power cords for both of these pieces but they were just standard old, cheap cords. I was looking for something more robust. I don't put much stock in the various "snake oil" sales pitches involved within my chosen hobby. I will upgrade a cable here and there IF it suits my needs. If a headphone comes with a 4' cable I need something else. If it comes with a 10' cable, I need something else. I choose Periapt cables in 7 foot lengths because I don't break the bank and I get what works for me best. I'm sure Amazon offers upgrades for the needs of others but I'm often in need of a cable with a proprietary type of connecter. As for interconnects, KabelDirekt suit me just fine, available right here on Amazon. I refuse to spend ridiculous amounts of cash on such purchases. I've read the reviews here and some of them leave me scratching my head. One such review says that this power cable sounds horrible. Does it buzz? Does it hum? If not, then it is doing it's job, which is to deliver power and to be dead silent in doing so. Mission accomplished here. I don't know but maybe this reviewer needs to do some cable management behind his/her desk. We've all been there before! Another review shows a picture of a cable which is missing some of the fabric around the cord. Mine certainly look nothing like that. I have no idea what that's all about. These are very decent, aesthetically pleasing cables and while the number one factor should always be sound quality over appearance, if you are going to own a gorgeous tube amplifier such as a Woo Audio, such a cable adds a certain level of cool factor to the entire system in my opinion. I'll buy more of these cables as necessary. I highly recommend them.

This cable is extremely well made. It arrive well-packed in a smallish brown box and an air tight ziplock-style bag. Surprisingly robust, and yet still pliable enough. Will not bend around sharpest corners, but easy enough to work with. A major, and I do mean major upgrade from a stock power cable aesthetically, if you care about such things. For me, at the price, it seemed like a 'no harm no foul' kind of purchase in order to find if there was a notable improvement or difference in sound. I've listened with this cord powering my preamp (Bryston BP-25) for about 8 hours now, and I do not think I am imagining it, but I very well could be, but the bass frequencies have more texture to them, and the 3-dimensionality of good recordings is very apparent. To be fair, I already had a good thing going in my system, however, this cable MIGHT have some how put it into the next level for my ears. Too early to give a definitive statement, but, one thing it certainly did not do is: degrade my sound in any way shape or form. For 40 bucks or so delivered, it looks and feels great, and might have improved the 3-dimensionality of my musical environment. I will keep it in my system now and continue to note differences or experiences with familiar music I've not had before, if any should arise. At any rate - it's well made, beautiful to look at, and, if there is a such a thing as cable 'burn-in' I do look forward to seeing if this 'burn-in' time actually does anything positive to the music, other than what I've experienced already in the first few hours. I'd buy another based on look and feel alone.

Ha funcionado muy bien para mi equipo hifi, cuento con una línea eléctrica independiente, acondicionador de corriente y un regulador; sin problemas hasta hoy.

I've purchased two of these and they work great. This cord is extremely well made and is attractive visually as well. It uses oxygen-free copper which is about as good as it gets without paying for exotic wire with silver or other precious metals that do nothing to improve operation, just add cost. Some audiophiles insist on spending thousands for a power cord that claims to improve the sound. Total BS. The only important factors in a power cord are 1) adequate conductor size to handle the required current, 2) the length of the wire (which increases its resistance), and 3) the use of high-quality copper wire (not 'diluted' copper/aluminum wire). This cable employs 10 AWG copper wire, which will accommodate 30 A continuous current. Considering that the typical household receptacle is only rated for 15 A, this cable can easily handle twice the current that is available from the wall receptacle! Moreover, 5' long is by no means excessive resistivity for use as a power cord for relatively low-powered audio equipment. The only 'downside' I've found with these cords is the size and heft of the IEC plug and its ability to fit into the rear panel of some equipment with limited space layouts. I guarantee that in a blind A/B test, not even the snobbiest audiophile could tell the difference between this and a high price alternative beyond random chance.
