A good way not to lose your place.

I've taken up reading paper books again and needed a good bookmark. This one seemed an attractive gimmick, so I ordered it. It has some pros and cons, but will probably suit your needs. Cons: 1) The pointed edges along the bottom are sharper than I feel they should be, requiring more than thoughtless action if you are using it as a horizontal line guide for your eyes. It can very easily tear pages and, as many of you are aware, also dictates a restrictive positioning of the reader and book if used in this way. 2) The packaging is overblown and very full of itself. This could be pro or con, but I call it con since the packaging seems to needlessly inflate the price of the item. Pros: 1) It's a good little bookmark. 2) Smooth sliding across paper, so long as book is flat. 3) Sleek little thing. Aesthetically appealing, to be sure. 4) You can clean your fingernails and toenails with it. 5) Great for scraping your floors if you are tiling a bathroom or kitchen in between chapters.

I bought this for my husband. Overall the look is great and he loved it. The downside is the weight. Because it’s made of metal and on the heavier side you have to have the right number of pages sandwiched in between or it’ll fall right off. He’s lost his page multiple times which defeats the purpose. Wish it wasn’t so heavy and it’d be perfect.

Item looks more expensive than it is

It is sleek and fits perfectly, it is the right size and moves with ease. I have several types of book marks; this one is the best. The first time, I ordered one. The second time I ordered four.

I hate it when book marks get dogeared or just bend and fail. This is a great solution, but needs directions for some. Always use it with a few pages in the clip. I knew this from the start since it was obvious to me. Some people complain that it rips pages. I think it is because they use it with one page.
