Iron Cross (Oxalis) Flower Bulbs - 25 Bulbs per Pack - Good for Indoor Forcing - Four Leaf Clover

I purchased these bulbs to give to a few of my friends as a charming little surprise. When they come alive and spring up in the pot, you are treated to loads of lovely 4 petaled leaves with centers that form dark maroon Cross. Then after a week or two lovely coral colored blossoms appear!! I read somewhere that these shamrocks are from S America, but they are a showy addition to your potted collection of flowers. The bulbs go dormant like other bulbs and you can store them in the pot until spring when a bit of watering will awaken them again. I planted 6 bulbs in a clump in a 5” pot of good potting soil and they are doing great! The friends I gave them to are having lots of fun watching these lovely shamrocks brighten their summer decks and porches!

Didn't grow

Plants shipped quickly, planted all 25 small bulbs in a large planter circling other higher plants. Flowered in 2 weeks just like they were pictured. Sadly, our Florida deer found the pretty pink blossoms tasty and left me the tall stems in the planter! Nevertheless, these are beautiful little flowers for your garden.

All sprouted and started blooming withing a few weeks.

This batch of bulbs I ordered were small and did not last. I gave it a 5 because I love the plant!

Beautiful, this picture shows 6 bulbs in a cluster 3 Weeks after planting. I bought 100 bulbs and they were all in great shape. This plant likes to grow in mound like clusters so I recommend you plant 5 or 6 bulbs together

None of the bulbs sprouted and I'm an avid gardener.
