I bought for taking pics of our kids while snorkeling. - Great price for a decent product. Photos came out great. Domes are best for taking waterline photos. It's nearly impossible to get the same effect without a dome because the go pro lense would have to be perfectly lined up with the water for the same shot. - The Red filter improves below water photos, but makes sky pink if above water. - Trigger is a little wonky because the plastic is flexible, but it lined up with the shutter button and worked well enough for me. If i was a pro photographer I might find something more solid. Test ahead of time. - Pretty easy to set up and use. - FYI: It's hard to swim with a dome in your hands, and hard to dive when snorkeling because it holds air. - It's a bit hard to see the go pro screen because the handle covers the screen (also, sunlight, ocean waves, foggy snorkel mask). I'd recommend learning how to use this in a pool before any adventure. I learned my go pro flashes red in the top left corner and that's the best way to see underwater if it's shooting video or not. I used the "instant on for video mode" on my go pro to conserve battery which also causes a slight pause before shots.

Inexpensive and works great! Be careful as it can scratch very easily.

Waterproof, build quality- all and all ok - if it screachs it's a problem

Took some great pics and vids in French Polynesia. It floats, so you don't have to worry about dropping your camera. That also means it is more difficult to plunge underwater. The half above/half below shots are difficult to capture unless you have very calm water. I just loved how the underwater pics turned out. It was nice to be able to flip to a different filter on the fly.

It works as advertise, but make sure you keep it inside of a soft bag or a case where it can't get scratch, the dome is made from a soft plastic and even resting it face down on a table will result in scratches. This is our second one that we purchased. Low durability.

The handle does not sit perfectly into its pin space leaving just a slight amount of wiggle room which causes the trigger arm at the top to slide off the camera button. Many adjustments were made throughout my sessions which became a nuisance and the handle also covers the cameras window so it becomes a point and shoot and hope for the best type of scenario. I would not recommend this. Unfortunately I can't return because my window closed but I will look into the double handled dome bc I can't live like this 😂😭

It looks and feels good but the trigger is not made in the correct location. I am guessing the over all frame is warped out of place ??? It was packaged very well and professionally but the trigger is NOT usable at all. SMH!

Was new to GoPro and underwater photography, but bought a GoPro and this dome port before heading on a recent trip to Hawaii and thought they were both great. It was bigger and more sturdily built than I had imagined, and having only just got the GoPro I liked that my waterproof camera was in a waterproof case for an added level of protection. It was relatively easy to swim while holding it, and the handle was sturdy feeling. The whole thing floats which is also good! I found it easier to use without the trigger (and had to watch a youtube video to work out how to attach the trigger, though in hindsight it seems quite obvious). Thought it worked well for general underwater photos/videos, and especially like the split over/underwater shots that one can get with a dome port.
