Perfect fit

I tried to rebuild my old carburetor, then found a new one was so inexpensive. I bought this, put it on, and problem solved with little work. Excellent price, and it works so smoothly. My problem is I try to fix everything, but sometimes, like in this case, it's not only easier, it doesn't cost much at all.

It was obvious my carburetter was not working well, and after removing that we noticed some of the parts were clogged. After purchasing this replacement, and after 15 minutes everything was running perfectly! Good quality product

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My gen with over 400 hrs was surging. Checked reviews. About 20% were bad. Ordered anyway. Sitting on the ground to replacement was uncomfortable. Taking the 2 main bolts was difficult to get the 10m socket on. Removed original taking care of the choke and throttle rods. In reversing the install had lots of trouble with the small blue inserts for the control rods. Getting the 2 main bolts back in while holding the filter bracket aligned was frustrating but got it in. Started the gen and it sounded good. turned on the A/C and it ran for 5 min's. turned off A/C BUT gen also shut down and would not fire up after repeated tried. (as noted in many complaints) Ordered a replacement. Before installing 2nd carb I expanded the blue inserts to the size of the original white inserts. Control rods fit easily making sure the choke rod stayed toward the backside of the carb. (easy to swing to the front improper!) Next tip was to secure the filter bracket with a narrow single hole piece of metal to allow the easy install of the 2 bolts thru the carb. @nd install was much easier and everything is working correctly.
