Arrived promptly and were well packaged. They were also of good quality, and the tree design is unusual and attractive. They look really pretty on my shelves. Some reviewers have said they are not "heavy duty", as described: I agree with this comment, but they are sturdy enough for me. I knocked off a star because of this slightly misleading description. Be aware that when you unwrap the product, one bookend nests inside the other so it only looks like one bookend. I didn't realise this until I had complained about only receiving one and had paid out for a duplicate order. I can see from other reviews on here that I wasn't the only one to be mistaken like this.

These work very well and they look quite nice also. I happen to like the cast iron look so they are perfect for me.

The description calls these 'heavy duty'. When I unboxed them, I thought that they lived up to the name, but then I realised I was holding two of them together. Individually, they are somewhat light - and yet, seemingly, sufficient to hold my heaviest books (but my books, though occasionally hefty, are not _really_ heavy). And the ends are light enough to be slightly pushed around by the books, which may or may not be what one wants. Given this slight slightness (as it were), the price seems just a little too high.

Love these , I would not say they are heavy duty , but they are sturdy enough , I have them on my mantle shelf and they are holding up some bigger books perfectly! They look great , not tacky .

Comodi, pesanti il giusto (personalmente ne ho usato uno per delle custodie PS4/5 - in foto - ed uno per dei libri ed entrambi svolgono ottimamente il loro lavoro) ed esteticamente gradevoli. Buon prodotto.

Direi, gloria ne infamia, un fermalibri tradizionale, che fa bene il suo lavoro. L'estetica corrisponde alle foto e la stabilità è buona, con libri/romanzi di dimensione standard.
