It was the perfect thing I needed as it contained almost all the symbols I can ever need to draw, and it is the perfect size for most maps; not too big and not too small

This is hands down the best/only NATO map symbols stencil I have used. The sizes and symbols are correct, legible, and the combination of symbols to make specific units is easy. ie: it is simple to make an air assault/airborne infantry, stryker, mechanized infantry, armored, combined arms unit, etc. Use your imagination and combine the shapes to draw what you need. I wouldn't recommend this for going to the field, but it makes plotting at the desk or mapping unit symbols with a pencil too easy. I use a .7mm mechanical pencil and it creates excellent, sharp, and legible symbols. My only problem with this plotter is the price. ~$30 is crazy. I would buy again or recommend for a friend, provided that that friend have a distinct need to draw lots of uniformly sized map symbols in their profession.
