The knobs were much smaller than stated! They actually measure 1-3/16" wide, 7/8" height and the base is 7/8".There is a polyurethane-type coating on them, which is poorly applied with rough finish and areas missing the coating.The knobs have threading device drilled into the knob and one of these was crooked so the knob would not attach straight.Ended up no using these as too small and poor quality, found exactly what I was looking for at my local hardware store, 2" wood knobs. Got them for $1 each. Best to see them in person to know what you are buying.It's so hard to know if a product is good anymore as reviews HERE never reflect actually quality and when you search in Internet for something all the big retailers come up or if you find a product review it's filled with links to sites like HERE - so you can't trust these either.

I have installed 3 of these, and within a month, the wood part's pulled off from the metal part during casual use. This was after I had to special order metric sized screws at a longer length to use them as cabinet pulls. The failure is within this product itself, not the screws I bought -- The metal embedded & glued into the wood fails and is generally irreparable.This product could work for decorative purposes or very lightweight work, like <1lb, maybe for upper cabinets where you're just opening the door. But for swing doors and bottom drawers it's not sufficient.

The first time I ordered these they came with .7mm x 30mm machine screws which were short but usable. I ordered another set supposedly exactly the same and they come with .7mmm x 20mm machine screws. The screws are so short they are worthless. I had to throw them away any spent $14 on new screws which nearly doubled the cost of the knobs.

Wood feels cheap and light. Included screws are uselessly short, but replacements can be found at the hardware store (I used Ace since they have a good hardware selection). They take M4 0.7 screws. Metal inserts seem solid enough. The wood finish is shiny but there are places where it wasn't sanded down well enough and it's still a bit rough, mainly around the base. They look pretty nice when installed.

These knobs worked out well and I thought they were decent quality. The screws are definitely too short these are the ones I bought.
