These boots are awesome. They are light weight & very comfortable.

Had a "cheap" feel to them right out of the box, at least relative to other Rocky boots I've owned. What I mean is the boot was sort of flattened side to side when I first laced them up. After breaking them in a bit, they seem fine. In fact the extra room allows me to tuck my pants into them for further tick protection. They don't feel too hot on the warmest days and have proven to be highly waterproof. I've had friends and co-workers spend nearly twice the cost of these on "higher end" boots such as Irish Setters that leaked after a couple of days. I do a ton of hiking for field biology work and good boots are a must. I would recommend these to anyone. Only complaint with these boots is that the laces seem cheap and often become untied after walking through brush despite being double knotted; will likely replace those asap. Otherwise, I'm very happy with these.

Fit well but definitely not waterproof. They leak like sneakers.

I love these boots. I am on my 2nd pair at the moment. Ordered a replacement (3rd pair) and was sent the wrong size. (Ordered 8 Wide and was sent 8 M). Cancelled that order and re-ordered. Again sent the wrong size. Sad. Guess I'll have to change to a different boot company. Been wearing Rocky boots (these and others) for more than 20 years. I'll miss them.
