Franklin Sports Youth Baseball Sliding Shorts

The perfect sliding shorts! Bought for my son (9 years old). He loves how comfortable they are and they don’t ride up during his games. They fit perfectly under his baseball pants and basketball shorts. Good quality and comfy material !

Great fit, great price. Purchased a size medium for my 8 year old. They fit great under his football pants, will work well for baseball in the spring too.

I purchased these for my 9yo son (who is tall and skinny and wears a size 14 pants) to wear under his baseball pants during his Fall travel baseball season. Prior to these, he had been wearing a pair of unpadded sliding shorts with a pocket for his athletic cup. His old ones were perfectly comfortable but had zero padding. In my experience, boys love to slide whenever possible so he very much enjoyed the little bit of extra padding these provided him. They're not super snug, but just snug enough to stay up comfortably while giving him some room to grow. I'll be buying another pair for him so we have two pairs (and I won't be forced to wash immediately on days when they have back-to-back games).

Bought these for my son, who just turned nine. It's early in the season, but so far these sliding shorts have worked very, very well. They provide extra padding not only for sliding, but also in case he gets hit with the ball (this is his first year of kid pitch, so that's a distinct possibility). I was nervous about buying these, given what many reviews said about sizing problems, but I'm glad I took the chance--my son likes them a lot and says they are very comfortable. A note about sizing: my son is about 4'9" and weighs 85 pounds--he is solid muscle. He wears a size 10 in pants from both Old Navy and The Children's Place, to give you a sense of his size. The size large briefs he wore for protection last year (made by another company) are too small now, but given what everyone here said, I ordered a medium in these. I'm very glad I did, because the medium is a little loose in the waist; a large would fall off him!

Purchased these sliding shorts for my son as added protection for baseball. They do just that as he is running around the bases hoping to slide into home! They have the perfect amount of padding. Since they are under his baseball pants the white color does not matter and they wash easily. Even after washing, the padding stays in place and does not bunch up.
