Very nice flavor, not hot.

I use this to make chipotle copycat chicken and it's perfect! I also use it as a substitute for chile powder in recipes because my husband follows a low FODMAP diet and chile powders have garlic in them. It adds a smokey flavor that I actually like better, but it is a little more spicy that standard chile powder so use a little less of it if you're cooking for kids who don't like spicy.

Rarely do I write reviews however I felt the need on this product since I live in a very small town with little to no access to authentic ingredients... This chili powder is wonderful.. Beautiful flavor, color and aroma. ❤️... My only complaint (this is purely personal) is the grind was not quite as fine as I like, but was easily remedied by a quick pass through my coffee /spice chopper. I often use it to powder dried celery, oregano, parsley, cilantro and it worked equally well for this... As to the negative reviews regarding quantity I can say that these individuals obviously have never opened a bag of potatoe chips. LOL.. Item is sold by weight not volume so settling should be expected.

Ancho Chili pepper powder adds a nice western flavor. I used only a little bit to start with.
