Cat Footwear Women's Mae Waterproof Steel Toe Work Boot

Love these work boots! I do volunteer construction and disaster relief in hot and wet climates, so I needed something really durable, comfortable, that would keep my feet dry but also not be too hot. These are perfect! I can wear these for 12+ hours and have no foot pain, and even after doing concrete work my feet stay protected and dry. For me they’re also not heavy. I mean, they’re work boots, it’s not like they’re light foam sandals, but I’ve had way heavier work boots that feel like a chore to walk in - not these. I would say the only slight con is that these could have better grip/anti slip tread. On concrete/dirt/mud/wood these are fine, but there was one instance when I needed to unload a very heavy object from a trailer, and when I went to back down the (smooth) metal ramp I had no grip at all and someone had to rush in to help me because I was sliding down. But honestly…how often are you going to be walking on an untextured stainless steel ramp? I think these are great work boots and would highly recommend them.

One of the best work boots I have purhased. CAT is a great brand. They are comfortable. They are very functional. I am on my feet a large portion of my 8-13 hour work day and these help out a great deal. I like that they are water proof. The reflective accents are a plus. They are true to size and width. The style makes for an eye catching work boot. They aren't heavy but pretty light for a work boot.

The fit seems true to size. Comfortable when wearing for 12+ hours. Lightweight enough thatit doesn't feel like you're wearing safety toed shoes. Decent traction on oily floors.

Three and a half years later - moving stars to 5 from 4. Boots wear like champs. Keep in condition with saddle soap, leather conditioner and polish and they'll keep you in great condition. Best footwear I've ever had. Eight months later & adding to my review below. Best work boots I've ever had. Wear almost every work day. Feet are always comfortable and don't know how - but my feet are NEVER cold. Some kind of fantastic breathability of materials and construction- the natural sweating of feet is NEVER an issue. Socks aren't damp and feet are never cold. It's like magic. Would wear these things with a dress if I could. I take a 7.5 Wide; ordered that & found it true to size. Foot was comfortable immediately- no breaking in. Cuffs were stiff against upper ankle first 3 days - just enough to make me conscious of friction but not enough to cause skin abrasion. By day 4 was not aware of it. Steel toe is unobtrusive- don't feel it when foot bends. Overall shoe is not heavy and is comfortable with 15 hour/day wearing. Good shoelaces- like stretchy paracord. Very satisfied with fit, comfort, foot & ankle support & safety in heavy work. This review doesn't cover durability bc I haven't worn them long enough, but based on the manufacturer's reputation for well-made products and my own experience to date, I have no hesitations in recommending them for work around the farm or construction site.

Just what I needed. I was thrilled to find these in sale and in my size. They fit great and are as comfortable as any steel-toed construction boot can be or at least as any I've ever owned.

Comfortable and looked good.

They squeak! I’ve ordered two pairs and both times one of the boots squeaked so terribly loud that it would be embarrassing to wear them around other people. The first order it was the left boot, and the second order it was the right boot. This just goes to show they have the ability to make non-squeaky boots, but something is wrong in the factory and many of these pairs have factory defects. Maybe that’s why they’re being sold here on Amazon? Again, the squeaky squeaking squeak noise is so loud that it is a very embarrassing sound that I would not want anybody to hear.

I've had my first pair of these for 4 years and finally decided it was time to replace them. I tried on so many other steel toes that were so uncomfortable! I love that the steel toe isn't narrow like in many others so my toes don't feel squished! They've lasted me through 4 years of mud and rain and have taken quite a beating. They're great boots!

Están muy bonitas y de calidad. Son originales. Solo que están amplias, me quedaron un poco grandes al pedir mi talla regular de bota. Solo considerar eso.
