Dogs Kingdom Leather Black Spiked Studded Dog Collar 2" Wide, 31 Spikes 52 Studdeds Pit Bull, Boxer Collar

This Dogs Kingdom Leather Black Spiked Studded Dog Collar was a bit larger than I expected. I actually got it for my female pit puppy so that she could wear it when she is older, however it ended up fitting our full grown pit/german shepherd mix. The collar is 2" Wide, 31 Spikes 52 Studs, and looks really nice. Comes in multiple colors you can get a pink one for your female dog and a black for your male dog if you wanted. It feels thick and heavy duty and I like the fact that the studs are rounded so they do not poke you if your dog accidentally bumps up against your leg or something like that. They look really nice, even though I do not believe it is real leather. The buckle is easy to use and it has multiple holes in it so you can get a good correct fit. Really like it, would definitely purchase it again once it starts wearing down, which I hope wont happen for a few years to come. ~Thanx~

Good collar looks good and keeps it's shape. Downside spikes are plastic and the paint chips and wears away easily . Material is not genuine leather but overall good collar for a fair price .

Bought this for my puppy not long after I got him and though the collar did break he had it for a while before it broke and he out grew it!

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. A week in, one of the spikes fell off. I figured I'd just glue it back on, it was just one, no big deal. Now, all of them are falling off! Its garbage! And furthermore, it takes nothing to scratch the black paint off the spikes. All the 5 star reviews on this was probably written immediately after purchasing it. When you first get it, and put it on your dog it looks AWESOME. But a week in, everything starts falling off! I strongly urge you not to waste your money on this!

Bought this for my 80 pound American Bully. He looked amazing in it when I first got the collar. He is also a strong puller and it has held up incredibly well. I have taken away two stars though because he would scratch his neck with his back legs of course as dogs do and it immediately started fraying around the edges and had white strings hanging out everywhere. This collar cannot only be made of leather or else it would not have done that. I'm disappointed because besides that it was a great collar!

I have never been interested in getting spiked dog collar for any of our dogs…. until recently! We live in the country and a new neighbor has a pit bull that keeps coming over to our house. Our back yard is fenced with a 4 foot picket fence and our Bo-Jack (medium sized dog @ 30 lbs) takes his protective dog position pretty serious. So, whenever the neighbor dog comes in our woods, he alerts and gets pretty upset about it. Our concern is if the pit bull jumps the fence a dog fight would be eminent. I saw this collar and at first laughed about it… saying, he will look tough and the other dog won’t jump in the fenced area (being silly of course). But my husband said it’s not about the looks, it more about protecting his neck and jugular vein from the other dog during a fight. Well, that’s all it took, I purchased it right away! Our dog is so sweet, he wouldn’t really hurt anyone, but another dog in his back yard is a different story. I measured his neck (17 inches) and order the small size in black leather. It arrived in a few days (really quick) and we are impressed with the quality of it! They used a very good quality leather, the spikes are solid and the buckle is really strong. It was easy to put on our dog and he seems very comfortable in it. The sizing chart they have on the website is accurate, this fit him perfectly. Not to mention how tough he looks too! I have a peace of mind knowing he will have on a shield to protect him if he needs it. It’s a great price for this, if I bought it in the pet or feed stores, it would be two times the cost at least.

I bought this for my German Shepard. Rottweiler cross dog. I figured a big mean looking dog should have a big mean looking collar. I was not disappointed with it. It is about two inches wide and covered in about a quarter inch spikes. This thing is solid- there is no way the other dogs are going to chew this one off of his neck. I plan on getting one of the white ones for my other dog. The only bad thing that I could possible tell people is that if your dog is also an inside dog, and very friendly, it is very painful when the dog scrapes his collar against your leg. The studs are embedded into the leather, so there is no real chance of them coming out. It comes in several colors but I thought the black would look best on my dog. In retrospect, I should have gotten a lighter color so it could actually be seen. The black just blends into his fur to much. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend one of these for someone with a large breed dog. It will probably be the last collar you will have to buy.

For the price you pay, the quality far surpasses what I expected to receive. It's durable, and looks great. Definitely make sure to measure the neck before purchase. I didn't and bought an extra small and am on the smallest loop.
