S&B Prepared Wasabi in Tube, 1.52 oz

This is the strongest wasabi I have had in the States. It's packed with flavor and so delicious. Just a little bit is enough.

I have been purchasing this wasabi for quite some time for my husband when I make fresh sushi. While I am not a fan of wasabi, he prefers making it with soy sauce for his sushi. It always has a great expiration date (a year out) and is a great price compared to other brands I have seen. It seems small, but this is typical for high-quality wasabi. Most importantly, though, he said it is always fresh and has a fantastic, robust flavor that he always enjoys.

Definitely NOT like the regular sushi wasabi you're used to. It's more liquid-y and definitely a shot up the sinuses!!!! Super intense, but if you like intense, you'll love it.

Some of the hottest wasabi, I have ever had. I'm a "Spice" guy and love to eat Asian. This Rocks.

When I got these and I tried it it is extremely strong flavor I overused it the first time I tried it. Now I am careful about how much I put in items because of this strength of this product. The taste is good no weird after taster off putting other flavors.

EDIT: I've used almost all the tube now, and bumped my review up to 3 stars, from 1. I think my initial reaction may have been a bit knee jerk, and although it's a lot more "hot" with the horseradish that I'm used to, it does have some wasabi in it, and to its credit, not all green horseradish does. Still not higher, because for the price (I paid nearly $9 for this 1.5 ounce tube), I expected either real wasabi or a lot more wasabi than I tasted. It tastes nothing like wasabi at all. I'd be okay with a green horseradish if the price was right and it tasted okay, but this is both extremely expensive and also nothing like wasabi is supposed to be. Real wasabi is a dry paste, this is more of a goop, much more watery. It's way too hot, even the tiniest amount on my sushi burns my nose. Not worth it.

Good as usual

Excellent, as soon as you taste a mustard seed size of it, you can feel the heat and pungency in your mouth reach upto your nose. I love it Use sparingly.

Of course it’s usual horseradish not original wasabi but it’s way better than plastic satchet wasabis.
