Had to remove some aluminum panels in a cargo trailer that were bonded with this stuff. When it came time to put them back I wanted to use this again because it was such a PITA to get them off! AMAZING bond. Tip for removal. 3M's only recommended way to remove this stuff from a surface is with a rubber wheel on a drill. It works like a charm. 3M makes their own or you can search for "eraser wheel" and buy an off brand.

Using this on a foam outdoor sign. Adhesion seems to be really good. It's main use for this application is to just hold the letters on the wall while the adhesive dries but it does the job I needed so im happy with it. Make sure you know what tape u need. Diff tapes are good for diff stuff when it comes to 3M

After trying to adhere my car side-view mirror, after it ripped off at a car wash, with three or four other adhesive straps, I thought I would try this product. I was very pleased with the quality as it has outperformed the rest. My mirror stayed firmly in place, even after several rains.

I used this to stick a camera to the back of my travel trailer. It works like a charm. It did use the preparation swipes to make sure the surface was clean. My camera is on firm and steady.

I have been using VHB tape for many years in my fabrication business and it has worked unbelievably well. I had a small project in my home shop and made an aluminum bracket to mount on my boat. Since I didn't want to weld this onto the boat, I thought I would use VHB tape. I cleaned both surfaces very well using lacquer thinner, let it dry and put the tape on. I clamped the bracket into place and left it overnight. The next day I took the clamp off and the bracket just fell off. Ended up using JB Weld and should have gone that route from the start.

Absolutely, the best double-sided tape. It must be able to withstand freezing and extra hot temperatures in my car and this is the very best of everything I’ve tried.
