This flat iron has been in my saved for later for months. Everyone on the internet recommends this flat iron, but I thought it was a bit on the pricey side. This is the highest tier of flat iron I have ever used, and it produced PROFESSIONAL results. Results were giving SILK, bone straight and smooth hair. It lasted so long. For reference, I have waist-length high-density fine 3c/4a natural hair with highlights. I had zero heat damage, and I blow-dried my hair with my Dyson using the comb attachment and then flat ironed my hair on 380 degrees. I did one pass using the chase method with a fine-tooth comb. Now I have to stop myself from wearing only straight hair. Do yourself a favor and pull the trigger on this purchase! It is worth every penny!

Love this. It took me a few times to get it right to curl my hair into beachwaves, and it's still a work in processes, but they are amazing when I get it right. I normally use it to just straighten my hair after drying. I love that it heats outside because it allows me to get some volume instead if looking limp. I have not seen near as much damage from using this almost daily as I have with cheaper product in the past. Keeps it healthy with minimal breakage I recommend this for someone who has used straightening irons before.

Absolutely amazing upgrades!! My last Babyliss Pro lasted 10 years; this one works even better. USE HEAT PROTECTANT!! This thing gets HOT. Also beware the entire thing heats up, inside and outsides are literally plates. Takes some getting used to. I burned myself a few times becoming accustomed. Amazing buy, salon quality. Just put it in your cart!!

I’ve had very long hair since I was a little girl. When I was twelve, I started straightening my hair with affordable irons I bought at mall kiosks. Last year, I bought an expensive Balmain iron, but it was a joke, so I decided to buy a brand without considering the price. I found that BabyBliss is highly rated, so I gave it a try. The irons I’ve owned have ceramic plates and work fabulously. However, this BabyBliss Tourmaline did nothing for my hair! My mistake was not using it right away, so I was very disappointed with the contradictory results compared to what I read on Amazon. I returned it the same day I “used” it, and it will take a month to complete the return and refund process. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Update: Please see my original review below. I made a switch to another popular flat iron about 2 years ago and forgot to update for you guys. This is still great for making your hair bone straight, so if that's what you're looking for, buy this. But, for my hair's health, I decided to switch. My routine is still the same except I do not need the cholesterol treatment anymore since my hair is in good health. I've made a brief video for you guys. I was trying to move without going out of frame, so please excuse the awkward movements. I wash and straighten once a week and only using pantene miracle rescue on the ends. This is the best hot tool I've ever purchased. First, the plates do not touch completely, but that's ok, my hair gets straight still and doesn't snag. To keep it working well you must clean the serums, etc off of the iron or the plates will separate from the unit. This is not a flaw in the product. You must maintain it as with anything else. I was initially afraid to buy this because some have said theirs quit on them. Thankfully, I have not experienced that.This works very nicely for my hair. I'm African American and my hair has a mixture of textures. My hair is natural and I keep it straight by straightening it once a week....and no, it does not damage my hair to straighten once a week. My hair is long due to the products that I use, this being one of them. I wash with V05. Then use a cholesterol treatment sometimes. After washing, I use generic it's a 10 deep conditioner from Sally's. I rinse that out and put just a dime sized amount of Chi serum on four sections of damp hair. While my hair is wet I dry with the Revlon hot air brush. Lastly, I flat iron with the Babyliss. I invested in this one which was a bit pricier. It was a great investment. My hair comes out very silky, light, and bouncy. I get many compliments and my hair is very healthy from these simple products. I hope this works for you as well.

Works ok. I bought it as it was recommended by a 'hair stylist' I don't use it to curl my hair, so it was kind of a waste of money.

La plancha es muy buena, toda la línea son buenas, pero hay que tener en cuenta que no es una plancha de uso diario ya que te va a quemar el cabello por su intenso calor, aunque uses un protector, entonces yo preferiría haber sabido esto ya que yo si me plancho diariamente el cabello y si deterioro mucho mi cabello, a pesar de qué usar a protectores Coma por el precio si me gustó pero si es para uso diario, hubiera preferido comprar una croc de la misma calidad

Llego en perfectas condiciones y a mi novia le encantó, me comenta que funciona a la perfección, ella es la feliz, así que se merece 5 estrellas.
