Reliable storage
Always a great value and reliable. This is used in a small RAID (mirrored) enclosure for my Time Machine backups and I expect it to last as long as I'll ever need it.

This second Gen SSD has a slight general improvement over the 1st Gen however the test system used has been upgraded since using a 1st Gen drive which may have impacted the results. That being said, I am still under the impression that this 2nd Gen drive is improved nevertheless, considering Samsung's reputation in the SSD market. Prices today are much higher but that's due to market related issues. Still highly recommend this drive is upgrading from any other SATA drive format.
