Great optics, fantastic addition to my Digital Microscope
I bought this wide field objective to use with my Andonstar 407 Pro Digital Microscope to get a wider field of view and I couldn’t be happier with this glass. It works beautifully with or without the 30mm UV filter supplied with the microscope, greatly increases the working distance between the microscope objective and microscope stage and provides an undistorted crystal clear image. If you have a digital microscope with 30mm thread camera interface or an adapter to fit your camera you will be happy with this wide field objective.

Great Lens - Very Clear - Great addition to my digital microscope
I purchased this Wide-Angle Lens to add to my new Andonstar AD407 3D HDMI Digital Microscope for a wider view. It works perfect! Excellent clarity. No distortion. The lens is high quality. A fantastic value. I would recommend it to anyone needed a 30 mm thread mount lens.

Wide angle lens that can be used with digital microscope
I saw this lens and one of the reviews mentioned it could be used with the Andonstar AD407 digital microscope. The AD407's limited field of view is one of the things I don't like about it. It was cheap enough that I decided to try it. As you can see from the photos, it does greatly increase your field of view and the lens is of decent quality. It attaches in place of the Andonstar's protective clear filter. This means that if you are using it to solder with, you might damage the lens. If you're not using it to solder, it works fine and is easy to change out.

Great addition to Andonstar AD407 Microscope
This lens kit made my Andonstar AD407 much more useful for PCB work by widening my field of view and increasing the depth of field. Circuit boards with high components were often impossible to keep entirely in focus, but now I have about a depth of field of around 25mm (~1"), which makes it much easier to work on PCBs without my tools being completely out of focus. And being able to tilt the board while I'm working and not needing to refocus is fantastic!

Doesn't fit.
Doesn't fit my camera. Super tiny seems like it's for a phone or a very small camera. Not for a DSLR camera

Good with the Andonstar 302!
I bought a few field flattening lenses from Alibaba to get more room to work under the scope. They weren't as good as this. They also required an adapter ring. Good quality optics. Nice working distance. Good for soldering and polishing.

Pointless
Do not understand the praise over this. With it you get maybe an extra centimeter of view. Plus as you can see in the images, the one with this lens is blurry. No amount of focus will give you that original sharpness.

Good for the price
The price was good but then again you get what you pay for. I loved how the 30mm allows me to just screw it into my factory camera without the need for adapter rings. The reason I gave this a 3 star review was the picture quality gets blurry around the edges of the playback. It comes out fairly clear in the middle however you'll notice a lot of the finer detail really get blurry the more to the edge you look. I'm going to include a side by side comparison of with and without the wide angle lens.

Does the job as described

I got this so I can take better photos of insects with my Nikon D60. Unfortunately, it is far too small to fit. The large end is too small for the camera's threads. I even checked if it would fit the Nikon Coolpix p5000, it would not.

The lens situated to be well made and fit the Andonstar 407 great. Field of view on scope was barely larger and I did not feel like it was that useful. In the end what really killed this product was chromatic aberration. The lens produces multiple colorful edges on objects.

I bought this thinking that it will fit my Tomlov microscope to increase the angle of view. Unfortunately there is no way to mount this on its camera.
