ROCKWOOL

I started many garden plants from seed in these in the Spring under lights, paired with a small tabletop greenhouse. They resisted white mold and algal growth better than other products. The cubes are perfectly sized for my application.

My favorite thing about these is the price first of all and second of all they're delivered straight to my home I started Hydroponics this year and it's perfect for my Hydroponics setup they're easy to use and they last for very long time

some fell apart as I was cutting them, first time using rock wool so not sure if that is normal.

Do used all different size rockwool cubes in the past up until now. These are very much the same in at the same issues I've had in the past which are they hold too much water so basically when you add water they're gonna be soaked for quite a while and end up waterlogging seedlings in when you're germinating them or clones if you're not careful. Also you have to adjust for pH before using which is another step to take not that big of a deal but it is kind of a pain. I would recommend jiffy cubes and stain is disintegrate very easily and I've made multiple seeds that I've been germinating moldy because of the moisture that they hold.

I’m using these for freshwater aquatic plants, and they work very well. The 2” rock wool cubes fit better in the 1” pots than the 1” rock wool cubes that came with them. I just split them in half without separating the two halves, kind of like a book, put the root tab in the middle, add the plants, and put it in the pot. Drop it in the tank, and let them grow out a little before planting in the substrate.Will be purchasing again when needed

Thought that I found a phenomenal deal, but you know what they say...The size is literally a little bigger than my spread out hand. Will not even come close to filling a standard grow tray. Total rip off.I don't know what these are actually expected to be used for?

These are the perfect size for my application. They fit into my pipes with ease. The molding in them holds them in place, so my seeds can germinate.

I order these often. They are perfect size for starting seeds in my hydroponic garden.
