I don't usually review things on amazon, but I did want to say that I am very pleased with the quality of this item. It's well built, turns nicely and I think it's going to hold up well over time. It is a heavy cube and can get tiring on the hands and forearms just because of the weight and the effort it takes to keep the whole cube aligned as it's solved. But that's just learning to hold it and use it properly. I did not have the issues some have commented on about the excessive grease when I received it. Maybe that is something the manufacturer took to heart and made better. Mine was clean when I got it and still functions very well. So, greased, but not excessively. The box is more store shelf quality. You can use it as a display box for the cube. But, it's not a selling point for me. It's not much more than just a cardboard box with a handle, hinges and a plastic display window. It's not bad. Just nothing special. Overall, very happy with this cube!

This cube far surpassed my expectations for a large cube. It was way smaller than expected which is nice. The turning on it is so smooth which surprised me for how many pieces are in it. I have spent about 10 hours playing with it so far and only 3 times did a piece pop out of place. I can not say that for any of my other smaller cubes. Plus this is the cheapest 15x15 I have found. But the quality of the cube is far from cheap. 10 out of 10 would recommend if you love doing cubes. I personally like making designs in the cubes after solving. With the size of this one I can make some really cool ones. Go Blue.

I'll just say that I love working this cube. That being said, it is really large and can make your hands tired from holding it because it is not light weight. If you get this, just be prepared to spend a significant amount of time working it. And the hardest part I have is just aligning back after every move. Be prepared that you might pop out a piece once in a while if you get careless and don't line it up good enough between moves. If you feel a piece popping out, stop immediately and take note of where the piece goes. If you are careful, you might be able to pull the cube apart enough to get the piece to slide back in. Other than that, it's a great, fun challenge to work. If you can work any of the large odd-numbered cubes, you can work this one. Example: 5x5, 7x7, 9x9, 11x11, and so on. I'd never suggest that you get an even numbered cube, like a 10x10, because it's harder because there is no center piece and some of the parity moves are nearly impossible for me to memorize. The odd numbered cubes, like this one, are easier in my opinion. I own at 3x3, 5x5, 9x9, 11x11, and now this 15x15. My favorite is the 5x5 because it's quick and easy to solve. I solve this cube when I want to spend a lot of extra time. With this 15x15, I can work the center of a single side anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. So, I'm looking at 6+ hours to solve the cube, typically. For me, that's about a week because I don't have a lot of time to spend on this each day.
