The bottle when opened, gives a strong smell of fish oil. However it has a pleasant taste of citrus flavours. Did some check of this brand and it is one of the highly recommended.

Update—company reached out after review and sent a replacement! Great product! …………… I’ve used this product many times, however, this last shipment was spoiled. Strong, awful smell. No way to request replacement as return is not allowed.

My eye dr. prescribed purified fish oil capsules with at least 650 EPA / and high DHA and I was buying mine from the ophthalmologist clinic. But ProOmega Nordic Naturals have the right EPA/DHA at about a 75% of the cost. What I also like is there is less mercury pollution in northern seas, and the fish oil is finely purified. Many fish oil products also contain oils that are high in cholesterol...this one doesn't. You're only getting fish oil and no fillers.

Was told to take this product by my eye Dr. I have noticed a difference in my eyes not being so dry. I don’t notice any flavor. It’s a little pricey but good quality.
