Actually, there is nothing wrong with the product. I over sized the item for what I really needed. MY BADDDD!!!

These were ideal for my project.They are very nice and have a great variety of sizes especially for the price.I did try using them first with using a paint pen/marker drawing directly over the stencil. This way did not work well.It looked blotchy and 'broken' not smooth. I then used a pencil to trace the stencil onto my project THEN painted and this way worked MUCH better! I would advise using a pencil to trace.

I used this product to stencil on slate. I paint different pictures, also xmas gift's with my grandchildren's nzmes on them. So much easier with the different sized alphabet.
