Q: I have damaged my ankle due to rolling it too many times, is this ideal to use as cast to help ease pain from swelling caused by climate changes?

My daughter also rolled her ankle too many times (had one ankle reconstructed at 19). This is the device the doctor prescribed both before and after surgery. I don't know if it will help with climate change, necessarily, but it helped her walk without too much pain prior to the surgery and kept her protected once she could take off the big ankle boot from surgery.

Q: How does the brace hold the arch? I have chronicle ankle instability and an accessory navicular bone (conflicting problems), but I want to jog again..

I have the same problem. There is NO support for the arch, and very little for the ankle.

Q: Does this product contain any hard plastic?

Yes, there are plastic stays in the ankle for support.

Q: I have heavy legs/ankles. Would this fit me?
