Be prepared for a solid REM cycle! Let me preface this review with the fact that I live on top of a mountain where the closest convenience store is about 20 minutes away, the nearest major grocery store is a 45-minute drive, and the really big stores like Department stores, a Mall, or Costco are an hour and 45 minutes away minimum. It’s mostly perks, I won’t lie, making me a pretty dollar-conscious shopper is one of those perks! I end up doing some bulk buying and/or “in between” purchases on Amazon or other online options. I've never taken it, but my husband and our daughter who is grown and moved away has taken Melatonin on and off over the years. It’s a natural and nonaddictive means to get to dreamland, but apparently, you’d really better be ready to go to sleep!! Being the primary pharmacy-stocker in our house, I know that 20 mg is a far greater dosage than the 3 mg ones he’d been taking, and at this price, it seemed, wow, I can get about 6-7 times the Melatonin for a fraction of the cost this way! Great find at a 2 for 1 deal! Get them before they go up in price was my idea. THEY CAN BE SPLIT! Fast forward through me never mentioning my great find (or this concept) to my husband. We are empty nesters having fully raised children into adulthood, and this man is older than I am, so I no longer need to be super aware of what I put in OUR medicine cabinet, right? Everyone at least gives the label a cursory glance, RIGHT!? Apparently not, because he thought nothing of the new bottle and “popped" one. Within minutes, it COMPLETELY knocked my approx. 220# husband out! Good night for real. He said he was worried he wouldn't make it all the way back to his bed when it hit him (he missed the part about take it and get in bed too). He asked me what else they put in the tabs the next day because he said it was TOO MUCH!! I went back to getting him the 3mg doses so I don’t have to split them and administer them to my grown manchild, but they definitely seem to work. Sending to my daughter with instructions; maybe someone has worse sleep issues than him that would need the full tab, but if you're tiny, start with just a lick haha. Husbands are so entertaining.

I've had trouble falling asleep all my life and in recent years tried many brands of melatonin. These are the best all around as far as price/mg and effectiveness. They are smaller than most but have more melatonin. I fall asleep quite easily with these. They do have a very slight bitter taste but not enough for me to buy a more expensive brand! I brush my teeth afterward anyway, so that takes care of any aftertaste. They are quite small and the pills in my first bottle dissolved very quickly under my tongue. The pills in the second bottle, which I just finished, were harder and didn't dissolve easily. I just crush them now between my front teeth and push them under my tongue, and they dissolve within a reasonable amount of time. I'm interested to compare the dissolving time of the third bottle, which I will start tonight. I always keep melatonin on hand and I will buy this brand from now on. It is a very effective product for a great price.

This has been a gamechanger for me. I am a horrible insomniac and i desperatly need the melatoin to sleep. After a few minutes, this kicks in. I enjoy the taste as well. For the freedom from many sleepless nights...I believe that the value is terrific for this quality of a brand.
