I am so glad I purchased this nail grinder. My dog is terrified of nail trims. She has dark nails which are always overgrown because I'm afraid of trimming into her quick. She does not appreciate trips to the vet to handle nail maintenance and she has had bad experiences with trims at the groomer, so I've been looking for a way to help with her anxiety around keeping her nails maintained. This grinder is powerful and you need to be careful to remove small amounts of nail each time. The LED lights are amazing. I can see the interior structure of my dog's nail which helps prevent trimming too close. The best feature of this grinder is that it is quiet. I used an early version of nail grinder that used sandpaper wheels to trim the nail. The grinder was incredibly loud and terrified my sweet girl. The sandpaper wheels required constant replacement. This Casfuy grinder is very quiet. The diamond grinder seems like it will last ages and requires just the lightest pressure to remove material. I keep our trimming sessions short and use treats (Shout out to Zuke's Minis!) to help my dog relax. We've worked up to her tolerating about 4 nails at a time. I know our new nail grinder is going to be the perfect solution to a long-standing problem with overgrown nails and anxiety-ridden pup and person. Don't hesitate if you have been looking for a quieter, well-made nail grinder. It is safe, easy to use, simple to charge, and tolerated by nervous pooches and people alike.

I really liked this nail grinder. It’s powerful but still quiet, which helps keep pets calm while trimming. The two LED lights make it easy to see exactly where you’re grinding, and the different speed settings work really well for both small and large pets. It feels safe, smooth, and painless for my dog. I bought this for my German Shepherd's thick strong nails. This tool is absolutely invaluable for his, and my other 2 dogs nail care. The size is perfect and easy to manage for me, as I have small hands, and has a nice balanced weight to it. It comes with a removable guard, which I had to remove the first few times for my German Shepherd's thick nails, but my other 2 dogs nails fit fine with the guard on. The 2 different speed settings are great options for a little shaping or a more intense trim. The lights are a great touch! I like that I can use the lights without having the grinder on, which I use to help me out when I use my clippers. I am able to see their quick so much easier to ensure a safe and comfortable trim for them. I also appreciate it being pretty quiet. This tool works great and makes nail time easier and faster for myself and my 3 dogs. I wish I would have bought it sooner.

This grinder is great. I am not new to grinding my dogs nails. In fact one of the very first grinders I used was a stripped down dremel wanna be back in 2009. After that died (using NiMH battery) I used an actual dremel until our dog got older and ended up leaving the task to the groomer. We now have a new beagle puppy and she is very anxious to new “daddy toys”. I introduced the grinder as directed. She did great until it was actually time to grind her nails. A 13lb beagle puppy is no match for a 39 yoa dad, 36 yoa mom and 11 yoa sister. The puppy was the winner (ha)! Ended up buying the good boy dog muzzle and that did it. She sits comfortably and does not snap. Still takes 2 people to hold her but I am sure after a few time that will change. I have screws and a plate in my hand and vibrations bother me. I use it on the low setting and have no discomfort at all. Even on high speed the vibration is so minimal. A dremel had 100 time more vibration even at a lower speed then the Casfuy. The noise level is no louder then a pedestal fan. The led light are great not only for seeing the nail but really bright in a lower light condition. The usb charging is also a huge plus. The only thing I would like to see changed is a usb c charging port. It is my belief the everything will eventually switch over to usb c. I am going to need 50 adapters for all the micro usb devices I have. Overall I would buy this item again and have another for a backup. My daughters complaint is that it doesn’t come in a dark purple.

Nail grinder works as described. It's a good weight. We have used them on a couple different size pups. The lights make it easy to see the nails. Holds a good charge and great value for your money.

These nail grinders worked great at first—smooth and easy to use. Unfortunately, I broke two of them within a short time, and by then, the return window had closed. Disappointed in the durability, even though the performance was good while they lasted.

I regret not knowing this much earlier. Always a struggle to clip my dog’s nails. This grinder works so well in trimming nails and easy to operate. Definitely a must try.

I've 2 dogs, a nervous rescue red labrador plus a rescue doberman who is fine with most things. The doberman was fine from the off but the lab is really scared of any new things, even if they don't move/make noise! With the labrador I built it up gradually doing it each day. I started off just touching her paws with it whilst feeding her dinner by hand, then putting it on near her whilst feeding, touching her with it briefly whilst on & rewarding each time just so she felt the vibration etc. It took a month but she now let's me do all her nails no problem! The light is great for seeing when youre getting near the quick too on her as she's got light nails. The Dobermans nails are black so clipping is difficult as you cant see the quick. With the grinder you can do it gradually & get a much shorter nail as you can see when youre getting near the point where you should stop. The one thing I would say it to do a tiny bit on each nail then go back & repeat each nail as if you focus on one nail too long it can generate heat which may make your dog feel uncomfortable. It doesnt burn but common sense tells them if somethings getting hot pull away from it. Saying that my doberman doesnt seem to bother about the heat. It says its very quiet which it is to us but still noisy enough to worry my labrador! However, I dont think you would get a grinder that makes less noise as they will make a noise as theyre grinding & grinding is going to make a noise! I dont normally leave reviews but im really impressed with this & never have to pay for a nail clip again!!! Its taken me a while to leave a review as I wanted to make sure it worked well for a few months before I said it was great!

E' la prima lima unghie per cani che acquisto per cui non ho termini di paragone, però è semplice da usare e poco rumorosa e funziona bene. In questo modo sto regolando poco alla volta le unghione del mio cane che erano lunghissime avendo vissuto per tanto tempo nel box di un rifugio. E non me la sentivo di usare il tronchese per paura di fargli male. Sono soddisfatta dell'acquisto.

You can’t see the quick clearly while trimming the nail with this tool. And my dog mainly has white nails so..! It is in my view unfortunately worthless. Waste of money.
