Nicely scented, not flowery at all.

Cleans great and keeps my skin clear, but honestly I'm obsessed with how it smells. Super strong and herbaceous, so I can see how some people may not like it but if you like herby/clean scents it may be right up your alley. I love it though and I look forward to seeing the long term benefits.

This is very similar to the "cha......" brand but if you are expecting the same scent it's similar but not the same. This soap has a good lather and cleans well. Everyone has different skin, I am a european man with rough skin and this is very mild on me, it cleans well if the dirt is not grease but if I have grease from machinery on me this is not a strong enough soap to address that. That's OK, I don't expect it to be that strong. I only wish it smelled as good as the "ch...." brand ayurvedic soap.

My daughter brought me some MediMix Nourishing Shampoo from India and I became enchanted by the fragrance. When I saw that MediMix also makes bath soap, I ordered it in the hope that its fragrance would match the shampoo, but it does not. However, I have fallen in love with this soap and its fragrance as well! While the shampoo reminds me of a fresh floral and herbal blend, the Real Ayurvedic Soap reminds me of some of the fine incense of India, such as Nag Champa and sandalwood. It both cleans and moisturizes at the same time. My skin feels truly clean and yet soft. It makes the whole room smell fresh and clean. I have even started using it to hand wash my lingerie. The bar is long-lasting too. I will order again!
