These are particularly good because they are free from heavy metals and contain an excellent blend of oils. They are a little more expensive but you're paying for quality (vs 2x the lower grade tablets). EDIT: I have had 1 of my 5 purchases have a bit of a smell to them. Usually never an issue.

After taking these, I gradually started having a problem of eyelid twitching in long term. First I thought it was because my busy life was taking a toll on my health and I never thought it is related to this supplement but after six months of trying to eliminate possible causes one by one I found that the fish oil is most likely causing this. I have no means to test any pollutants but when I stop taking these fish oil gels and drank lots of mineral rich drinks to detox, the twitching fades out. The twitching comes back when I start taking them again trying to not waste them. Well, I decided to stop completely and switch to other alternatives such as flaxseed oil. I know it is common to hear news about fish oil supplements containing contaminants but it’s hard to know which to avoid.

I’ve ordered these Nature’s Aid Super Strength Fish oil many times before and had no issues - I only haven’t reviewed previously because I haven’t noticed any change in my health when taking them, positive or negative. However these are supposed to be good for your health if you don’t always eat enough oily fish - and I was happy enough to keep purchasing as they had no smell, the size was fine to swallow and they didn’t repeat on me. Plus it’s hard to find fish oil in the more natural triglyceride form that isn’t overpriced and these seem reasonable. But my last batch (expiry date 07/27) stink of rotten fish and have obviously turned rancid. I’m not sure why, perhaps they weren’t sealed properly? I won’t risk wasting money again and will try a different brand.
