Gallon Food Storage Bags, Stay Open Design with Stand-Up Bottom, Easy to Fill, 75 Count

They are good sandwich bags, a household name, but honestly, I prefer Hefty because they are thicker and sturdier. These are easy to open and close and are overall a great value thanks to their excellent seal, but Hefty still does a better job. I don't often use them in the freezer so I can't speak to freezability, but they work great for my kids' lunches.

I use these for dozens of applications car most people do but I have found novel use also, so sharing here : electric equipment or electric disabled powerchair controls, a good moisture barrier in damp places. A bag to hold fish ( and water) in to bring home to show mom ( no lizards please!), a wrap around ice cream cones to keep that new flavor from being the stain that wouldn't come out of your new girlfriends sweater, and who could forget ...it's great for going to Farmers Markets and filling with some REALLY fresh fruits and vegetables? Ok...so its plastic...but it sure is convenient so I hope this is the one plastic we keep awhile longer!
