Kneipp Mineral Bath Salt, Deep Breathe, 17.63 Oz

Amazingly scented. Fills the room with the scent of a forest.

The "Deep Breathe Pine & Fir" mineral salts by Kneipp make a for a great soak! Because reviews have been mixed I had my doubts, but having faith in German-made products, I decided to give it a try. Following my typical procedure, I added the salts as I started to fill the tub. The aroma filled the room with the light scent of an evergreen forest, just as you find on a hike. Nothing overpowering nor artifical. 5-stars. As to the soak itself, absolutely perfect! Soothing, relaxing, all crystals completely dissolved, and again the aroma remained light and natural. I spent 30-minutes in the soak, and really did not want to get out. 5-stars. As to ingredients, all natural mineral salts, natural pure essential oils, and natural surfactants. The only negative I have is the last two ingredients: artificial dyes, blue and yellow. These are here simply to create the green color. While I admit, the green bathwater is visually appealing, I wish the makers would delete these last two ingredients from their otherwise all-natural recipe. 3-stars. Overall rating 4-stars. On a side note, the product did NOT stain my tub. Also, the product is returnable, being no different than just about everything else purchased through Amazon. Do I recommend "Kneipp Deep Breathe Pine & Fir" mineral salts? Yes! Did I subscribe for regular shipments? Yes!

I don't like the smell, but it seems like an effective product, and doesn't smell floral or vanilla, so it might smell right? Hard to say. I live in a metro area so it's not a smell I'd encounter every year. It will turn bath water a yellow-green hue.

No great shakes. No suds or scent and turns the water a dark green. Waste of money.

Plan to enjoy bathing in this fir tree scented bath soak often. It is a real treat.
