These are really lovely wood slices, consistent thickness and very similar sizes. I wanted them to add to a plain hedgehog feeding station to make it just a little bit more insect-friendly for our varied garden wildlife. I'm also glad to have a couple left over for a different craft project. I've left them untreated, as I want them to weather in and eventually rot a little. The bark is extremely soft, and the outer layer does break off easily, but for my purposes, that's perfect. I believe that issue will be tree-dependent, so I wouldn't hesitate to buy again. It could always be trwated with a matt wood varnish to give it extra hold if that's a problem with any others. The surface of the wood is nice and smooth, and lends itself to easy painting & burning without any prep needing to be done. My order arrived quickly and well-packaged, and if I need more in future, I will definitely buy these again.

I ordered the wood slices for a craft project. They are the perfect size & came in great shape. I had ordered from Deseret Book Company the "If the Savior Stood Beside Me Picture Set" , which is on order. I will be taking these beautiful pictures and going to mod podge them onto the wood slices. I will then drill a little hole, attach some jute twine, add a ribbon and then hang on my Christmas tree. I saw this craft on Pinterest I think and loved the idea. Yes, some of the bark has come off the wood slices, but no big deal, I will mod podge or hot glue or use E6000 glue to re attach the bark back on. I'll figure it out. Yes I would recommend this product.
