CORE Lighted Instant Cabin Tent

It’s spacious, and the quality is superb! One of the best features is the built-in lighting with multiple mode options, which makes it look even more beautiful. Camping has become even more fun with this tent.

Easy to put up - took 2 of us about a minute to do so - and took 1 of us not much longer to put it down and pack it up - the first tent I have never struggled to get back in the bag. But the bragging-rights go to the in-built lights - if you want to be the envy of your group, this is the tent for you! Tent is good quality, goes up and down as advertised - instantly - exactly as advertised.

We camped out for a night near the house with our Cub Scouts troop and our cabin tent was full of Cub Scouts. The enormity intrigued all the youngsters and they had to see it. The tent is so roomy and the lighting was amazing for the value. All of our camping gear easily fit into our cabin overnight with room to spare for the beds. The only drawback was that a couple Scouts tried jumping on the air mattress; all remedied with a healthy dose of hot dogs. Overall we didn’t have any condensation issues; so nothing like leaking ; I believe the design is very functional how the tent can be set up in right at 7 minutes on the first try and lastly it appears to be durable with the stitching on the flaps, seams and zipper which is where I have discovered tents I’ve had before had let me down.

Love this tent, went camping January 1 to 4th in Alabama, we ended up using the 6 man tent, great time. It rained the last night there and had no rain in the tent, even missing an awning pole. The six man tent was missing awning pole for our trip, called them and they sent a replacement one for us as you can see in the pictures. Some campers next to us there, tent was broke, let them borrow the 12 man tent for the night. They had 9 people in there group, it rained that night, real hard, no water inside. They loved it so much, that they bought one while there. It sleeps great, nice space for your needs. Set it up in backyard when we came back and love how easy it goes together and takes down, as I have neck and back issues, I was able to do it myself, as I'm 62 year old male. This will be used alot for hunting and camping. Didn't take long to set it up. You have to get one, don't listen to the naysayers that don't know what there talking about. I've been doing this for a very long time and would say this is the best tent I've purchased. Thank you, Core for your help and having great products, as I purchased both tent tarps also.

Great tent. Super easy to set up and kept me dry in the rain. Plenty of room to stand up, and the built in light is a nice touch. Break down was also easy, and it actually fits in the carrying case. This is the second Core tent I've had, and I have not been disappointed. Two thumbs up.

I just attended the annual Girl Scout spring camping event with my daughters, and we knew that the forecast was for 100% rain one of the days. Well, sure enough the forecast was true and it started raining around 3:00AM and rained the entire Saturday. The tent held up very well as far as water leaks goes. I had one little issue with a little water coming in by the door zipper. That very well could have been due to it no being closed properly, so that was not a game changer at all. The built in lighting is awesome and very adequate lighting. My little one appreciated the night light function. I was happy to see that CORE added a few hooks at the top of the tent for lantern, fans and the such. My other CORE 9 person tent did not have any. The instant set up function is always a plus, we got the the site a little late and got everything set up before night fall. When they advertise the tent as a 12 person tent, I take that as a general estimate of it's size. It was three of us and we had two full inflatable mattresses, a zero gravity chair, two small tables and plenty of space of various gear. The only caveat that I can think of is that the rain fly is a bit tricky to put on, and probably is better with two people. I would recommend this brand and this tent.

More like 3.5 stars. I’ve only used this tent twice in the couple years since I’ve bought it and for the most part I love it. Had a Girl Scout came this past weekend that was rain or shine. Unfortunately for us it was more rain than shine. A tropical storm blew in and most gave up to sleep in buildings they could fit into or just counted their losses and went home. Not I! My family paid good money for this adventure and were committed to having a good time. With that said, the tent faired well. It’s water resistant not waterproof so we did get water inside. For the severity of the rain and winds it was minuscule though. The side are vents and seems were the culprit for the water coming in but as I said it was only water resistant not waterproof. Thinking about buying a smaller version.
