The listing makes a big deal about not being tested on animals, being all natural, etc... But the primary ingredient (which I discovered after using it) is Sodium Tallowate. Tallow. Rendered animal fats. So if you're buying because of the 'ethical' credentials, think again. It is a nice soap which I don't have a reaction to (which is why I bought it, and is why it has 3 stars) but it does leave a layer on my skin (I feel it wash off when I use an alternative soap) that I don't get from other soaps, which I presume is the tallow. So if you want to walk about coated in animal fat, go for it. I'm not a fan. There's a market for this kind of soap, and I don't feel the company should use greenwashing to suggest they're something they're not.

Yardley soap is great, and lavers well.

I have been using this brand for years. All-natural. I even gave one to a friend from another country who came here to work for about a month and he gave it a thumbs up.
