Red Devil 077020 230 Lifetime Ultra Premium Elastomeric Acrylic Latex Sealant, 10.1 oz, Almond

This has performed fine for me as a general purpose exterior caulk. It's easy to work with -- it dispenses and applies smoothly (provided you use a good quality caulking gun), adheres well, sets up pretty quickly but not so fast that you don't have time to smooth it out/touch it up. Cleanup is easy with soap and water. It's paintable, but I can't speak to how well it takes paint since I'm not painting over it (the caulk is white and the window frame is also white, so no need to paint). It's impossible to know how long it will last until years have gone by, but so far it's been holding up strong. I've used many other Red Devil products in the past and all have performed well, so I am not anticipating any issues with this. Good value for the price.

This acrylic caulk is a little runny, so go slowly and use sparingly. It helps to have caulking tools, a wet towel and plastic gloves for your fingers. I needed an easy to clean acrylic caulk for tight spaces around a bar sink. I wasn’t sure if I could trust the basic acrylic caulk in big box stores, because now the kitchen/bath caulk ALL have silicone added, which can be to clean up around a sink and tile backsplash., and clean off your hands.

Got this to help seal gaps and block sound from coming in. It helped out a lot. Not sure how many db but if you can’t afford green glue this is the next best thing.

This DOES take a long time to "cure." I had tried another caulk first and it cracked within a week. However, it is almost impossible to find a decent bathtub caulk, especially in an almond color. I had to use a fan for 24 hours to help it set. And, it's only been a few days since I installed it, so I'm not sure how it will last. But, as of right now, it seems OK. It does say on the tube that it takes a while to set, so I can't say I wasn't warned. But it does seem excessive. Why is it so hard to find a decent caulk anymore? It did arrive on time and in good condition, so I have no complaints about that or the seller. But....be warned. It does take a long time to set. And I've tried a lot of caulks that claim it won't mold, it always does...eventually. So, I have to redo it at least once a year.

Originally to filled the gap for the backyard, between the tiles and wall of the house. As the earth shifted thru the years. Got some left so kept it with a cap covers it. Accidentally cracked a retaining wall brick, it was loose into 2 pieces and the cement holding it was falling. Filled the crackinG line and pushed it close, filled the spaces left by the missing cement. Hours later, it it as strong as before and show only a thin line of crack due to the glue is of a lighter color. Bought another tube just in case need it for some other repair.
