Great sound, good quality.

It is a Christmas Gift. I was very happy with it but it will take installation and use by the recipient to really tell! Tell you in the summer when the boat is launched!! Lol

I should have know that for the money this was not a marine radio. All the wiring, mounting hardware are automotive grade. Anyone who knows boats knows that all wiring needs to be marine grade tin'd wire and every connector, nut, bolt, or anything metal needs to be stainless steel. This radio might work on a freshwater boat, but I don't expect it to last very long.

Seen other reviews on here that people were saying the speakers were junk and don’t waste your money. But we installed this on our 99 suntracker pontoon to replace original ones. The system itself is easy to use. The speakers have amazing audio and can get loud enough to here over the boat motor. They have great bass too. I would recommend this system to anyone looking for a upgrade, well worth the money and easy to install. Comes with everything you need including a radio cover.

Showing the remote in the product picture is a pretty shady move. You know darn well it doesn't come with a remote, the user manual doesn't even show the kit with a remote as well as a remote not even being listed in the manual contents. The stereo works fine, your business practice doesn't.

After purchasing a small watercraft this year, I noticed the sound system was not working. I purchased a Boss kit online from Amazon. After much cursing trying to remove the old one, I saw it was also a boss. NOT WELL CARED FOR. The new unit went in easy. I installed the included 6 inch speakers and added a couple of 5's to other ports. I liked the ease of install, the well labelled connection leads and the remote feature is nice. The remote unfortunately seems to be an IR unit so one needs to be sitting in thee rear of the boat facing the unit to make adjustments to sound. This is my #1 complaint. Other wise, the sound is clear and loud enough for our needs. The unit could have been made SAT ready so we could connect our Sirrius player to it, but I found I can connect from my phone and get satellite radio anyway. Thanks for the unit.

I replaced a 14-year-old OEM Jensen stereo with this one from BOSS. Without knowing how long this will last at this point, let me say that the quality of this unit and the speakers are fantastic thus far. For those who said their speakers are not that good, if I crank up the sound on my Pontoon Boat, it is crystal clear. How loud do you really want it on a boat anyway? Also, where the speakers are located, the sound stays more centralized in the boat and not abroad or noisy around other cottages. Just right if you are anchored and sitting back or turned up a bit and out in the water. A perfect compliment for those who like music vs the sounds of nature alone. One more thing. Took me 30 Minutes to install the radio and about 5 minutes for each speaker. (I also had to trim out 1/4 inch around each Hole with a utility knife). All you need is a Philips Screwdriver and a 12 Volt Test Light for connecting the Power to an existing Harness. The wiring chart can be understood by a 5 year old and the speaker colors are matched for each on front and rear.

E' la seconda volta che compro una radio di questa marca, la prima molto simile alla seconda, pensavo di essere stato sfortunato con la prima, in realtà e' un assoluto speco di soldi. Una radio che alla fine e' normalissima (probabilmente fabbricata in china) con speakers che dice essere impermeabili, in realtà sono degli speker base normalissimi rivestiti di plasticaccia. Its the second time i buy this radio, first was vey similar and though i was unlucky with it but it is absolutely a waste of money. Average radio (probably made in china) with speakers that are supposed to be waterproof, in reality under quality normal ones covered by plastic.

I ordered this stereo as a second choice. After the first one never arrived in shipping pretty happy with it came with four speakers and everything seems of decent quality. Hopefully it lasts me a few years.
