Fit 2013 VW Golf Hatch perfectly with excellent lifting pressure. Save yourself $100 at the dealer.
The lift and closing resistance is perfect and feels like when it rolled out of the factory. They installed easily and fit perfectly with a slight rotation of the head socket. They may even be slightly higher resistance than the OEM which is great for when you're loaded up with groceries and can barely flip the logo to open the hatch. Took 90 secs to install, just pop the old clips off with a flat head screwdriver and then pop these on, do one side at a time and support the gate with your head, vice grips, or a friend. Easy install and saved $100.

2012 VW Golf TDI perfect fit
I know someone else mentioned they fit this vehicle as well, I’ll just reconfirm their statement. Had some aftermarket supports before these that were terrible they didn’t slow down at the end of lifting and basically slammed the rear hatch open putting extra stress on the hinges and mounting brackets for the lifting arms. These open the hatch nice and smooth and slow down at the end so as to not slam open. Just like factory, would definitely buy these again

Short fit!
Short on the model of 2014

Perfect fit on Golf 2012 hatchback
This strut is the same length as the OEM part on the 2012 VW Golf 4 door. Installation was a fast 5 minutes. You just need some gloves and a narrow screwdriver to lift the clip off. Very strong gas strut.

Es solo retirar los cliper por llamarlo asi del que esta instalado en el auto,Y tirar Asia afuera ,Los nuevos no se retiran los cliper,se instalan haciendo algo de presion asi adentro. Es muy temprano para describir su duracion,Pero de momento está perfect,Solo llegar y poner,Buena fuerza,Gracias

Good qualities, strong fit perfectly for 2010 Golf. How long will it stay like that? I don't know, they look great now but the delivery with uni uni and packaging was really bad.

These work great BUT it’s 2-3 inches shorter than the originals and thus the gate is 6-8 inches lower when it opens (watch your head). And no I don’t have the patience nor time to take off, repackage and order again….
