It’s a simple yet a great knife
The knife is one of the most iconic, classic, and practical knives. It arrived the next day after I placed the order, good wrapping. The knife is ready to use with no sharpening needed. I’m a little frustrated about the carrying case though, looks good from distance but it’s made of a cheep material.

Good buy.
Came out sharp out of the packing but need to sharpen some more to meet my satisfaction. Opening the blade takes some effort and there is always a danger of cutting yourself if you are not careful. The case is a bonus but it is not made of leather and it won't last long when in constant use. Basically a good knife and will certainly cut cleanly through fruits, veggies bread and meat. I bought Opinel # 8 and it fits my bug out requirement in size and because of the 90 deg. spine which is excellent for striking sparks with my ferro rod. Good buy for the price.
