Cooper makes a great product, this is one of them.

I needed a reliable meat thermometer, and this seems to be the winner. Haven't used it very many times but it appears to be accurate. Sometimes a little hard to get to the "on" button as it's so teeny tiny. I'm happy with the product thus far, but would remind any users NOT to insert this in the meat while it is in the oven, as I did that with my first one and it melted. User error!
