Wonderful pieces of history for my kid. She gets these from the Tooth Fairy instead of US currency because the novelty is worth more than the cash value.

I received this set of foreign coins and was very pleased with the quality, condition, and variety of the coins included. Even though most were very small denomination coins (1, 2 and 5 unit coins) I felt it was still a good value - particularly as a starter set for someone interested in collecting European coins.

There were hardly any duplicates and you would expect to find some coins rather worn or dirty, since they were actually in circulation, but there were only a couple that we cleaned up a little bit. Fun purchase for my coin-collecting grandson - lots of coins that he didn't have and wouldn't be able to get now that the euro has replaced them!
