Filling with cold water at 9am means cold water at 4pm. End of story. UPDATE. 5 months of use has really shown me how valuable this size of container is really the most ideal out of the YETI Portable Cooler Lineup. I use it at the GYM for ICE cold water for an entire 2 hour workout. I also fits perfectly in my golf bag, and I can't tell you how amazing it is to have ICE water all day long while golfing. I can literally fill this up with ICE and after 4 hours in the hot sun and several refills, I have 70% of the ice left when I get home. Construction is outstanding, as we have a few other off brand stainless thermos bottles and they don't come close. The lid can take a moment to get off, but that is due to the excellent tolerances in the stainless threading. Overall your bottom decision is price. Yes it's worth it if you are outside daily, drink a lot of fluids or just want something that will last forever.

I'm in love with my Rambler. It's sturdy and beautiful. It isn't easy to carry around though but that's the price I'm willing to pay for this gorgeous Rambler. I'm a huge water drinker. Ice water to be exact. The more the merrier for me so this is perfect. Keeps it ice cold even after the Ice had melted! So I filled it with ice on Friday it was pretty much gone by Sunday but the water was still ice cold come Sunday afternoon and throughout the evening... Come bedtime I filled her up again. I couldn't be more happier, but wait, I am! Why you ask? The way the opening is made is beyond perfect! My old jugs had a sharper rim... So if you move abruptly you run the risk of cutting your mouth open even wider! This Rambler has a smooth sloping rim that almost feels soft with no risk of getting wounded for a drink! I don't know how to explain it but it's the best. Do I miss the pop top lids I've had on the past jugs I've owned, yes because that was convenient to just pop the top take a swig and be done. I have to untwist this ginormous lid off and on each time and have found that I've had to just keep the lid off longer than I would like simply because I drink water so frequently... I'm thinking of getting a different lid... The perfect lid unfortunately cost the same as the Rambler so that's never going to be an option for me. I may try another design from yeti but not sure yet. Still debating that.

I have been an avid YETI buyer for the past four years. My first YETI was given to me by my boyfriend and I was so skeptical because they are expensive and as a teacher, money is tight! I work 11 hour days and this brand is the GOAT of all insulated drink ware. I purchase my ice coffee at 6am and at 5:30pm my iced coffee (if I haven’t drank all my coffee yet) still has ice in it. These live up to the hype, name, price, and quality. My grandmother suffered from two strokes three years ago and we took shifts taking care of her when she was first moved back home. I would buy two iced coffees in which I put in two of my YETI cups and they both kept the ice for nearly 24 hours. Some melting is to be expected but I have 11 YETI lowballs, mugs, and ramblers and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. Since I’m a religious iced coffee drinker, I have only used the YETI drink ware with hot beverages when I am camping (got chocolate) or sick (tea). From what I’ve experienced, beverages stay warm for about five hours at a time. HOWEVER, the short term warmth that I’ve experienced MAY BE DUE to the fact that I have the open slit tops for the YETI mugs and lowballs so perhaps the heat escapes at a faster rate than it would if I purchased the Mag-slider tops. To be expected: the inside of your drink ware will look gross over time. I found that using one Polident denture tablet in one cup and let it soak for an hour (sometimes longer) removes the build up. I NEVER use an abrasive sponge which is why I use the tablets. Be sure to clean under the Mag-slider on the lid (if you purchase one) and under the O-ring on the lid as they get gross from the residue of beverages. I take really good care of my YETI drink ware! I've owned the Yeti rambler for several months now and it is by far the most durable and effective water bottle I've ever owned. This water bottle kept my water ice cold all day despite the AZ heat and I took it with me everywhere. I love the look of the water bottle and how durable it is. I've owned other water bottles that when dropped ONCE they would be easily dented and would no longer keep my beverages cold. I'm not exaggerating when I say this bottle is tough. This water bottle survived being ejected 12 ft from a rollover car accident going 65 mph. I was on my way home when a driver cut me off and I lost control of my vehicle and rolled several times. Fortunately, I was looked after that day and had no major injuries. My vehicle was totaled and emergency responders found my belongings ejected miles from my car. When I went to collect my belongings you can imagine my surprise when I found that one of the items that made it out of the accident was my Yeti rambler. It was covered in dust and a little scraped up but no dents and it keeps my water as cold as when I first got it. I never leave product reviews, however, I felt this story was worth telling. If you need an effective - tough waterbottle that keeps your water cold all day long, look no further.

I was feeling a little extra and decided to purchase one of these bottles. I also ordered the chug cap which is a super nice addition. Overall the bottle feels very quality and keeps my drinks cold for like 2 days. You can leave ice in it overnight and itll still be frozen the next day. The build quality feels strong and heavy which I like. I bet the paint would scratch if not cared for properly but mine has not in the few months I have owned it. Definitely better than Hydroflask! My friends all have hydroflask and it is not as heavy duty and does not keep temperature as well when we are out in the heat.
