When I first received these Ticonderoga pencils, I honestly thought they looked like any regular pack of school pencils, maybe even a bit darker in color than the pictures online. But once I started using them, I quickly understood why teachers always recommend this brand. They sharpen smoothly without splintering, the graphite writes cleanly and consistently, and the erasers actually remove marks without smudging, something rare with cheaper pencils. The pre-sharpened tips were convenient right out of the box, and even after multiple sharpenings, the core stays centered and strong. I use them both at home and for my kids’ schoolwork, and they’ve held up perfectly. The feel in hand is balanced, the finish is smooth, and they just make writing enjoyable. If you care about reliable, high quality pencils, these are still the gold standard.

Pencil quality not an issue. There is a reason they want these on the school supply lists. Just be aware of the return policy....they can NOT be returned on Amazon. I didn't realized wife had already purchased. Shoulda bought these at Walmart instead.
