Maidenform Shapewear Hi Waist Thigh Slimmer

I purchased 1 size down for a bit more compression, wear a size 14 in jeans, 160lbs, 5’4” athletic build and purchased a medium. It fits comfortably when on and in place, breathable and does not roll, has a rubber grip at back. Thighs sit in place and also do not roll. Helps smooth and firm everything up so skirts lay nicely at the waist area. I appreciate the high waist, some of my other Maidenform shapers have lower waists that I’m always adjusting but no need to adjust this one. I wash it quick wash in cold water and line dry. I’ve found that these shapers do not do well after drying multiple times but do last a very long time if line dried. Maidenform is definitely my go to brand for shape wear.

After spending too much time looking at shape wear on Amazon, I finally decided to go with a brand I trusted. I’m glad I did. I hate lingerie lines and go commando often to avoid them but for an outside charity gala in October, I wanted a layer of warmth that wouldn’t show and maybe give me some support to boot. This garment did the trick. It was comfortable, didn’t roll or cut into my flesh, gave me my waistline like I was “holding it in” & I didn’t need my stole for the 60s degree evening. (So I can’t comment on how warm it might be on a summer day.) I even used the hole in the crotch to void without issues. The last picture is without the garment.

I love this shape wear. It holds everything together with a hole cut in the center of the crouch area which helps with the sweating. All women know we need to breathe in the crouch area. The shaper can be pulled over the breast and all the way down to the top of the knees or middle of the thigh. Basically you can stretch and fit the shaper how you want. Quality is excellent.

I purchased this same shapewear 3 years ago and loved it. When it was time to get another, without any thought, I bought it again. They've changed dramatically. The older style had silicone the whole way around the inside leg band and waist band as well as "boning strips" or metal strips in the back area. This does not and it tends to roll. Not as happy at all.

I wore this under my mother-of-the-groom dress to smooth things out a bit. Fit nicely, provided tummy flattening as desired, & smoothed out the rest of the bumps! The top did roll down on occasion, but adjusting it by pulling it higher up helped with this problem. It was very comfortable, allowed for free movement for dancing, and for the price, a fantastic deal. I shopped around and most of this kind of shapewear runs in the $50 range, so I was pleased to get the results I did for half the price!

I was kind of excited to wear this. It's thin and soft and stretchy. I put it on thismorning and I found what I thought was a hole in the crotch... There is actually a dime sized hole where the fabric rupees at the seem, but what I originally thought was an accidental hole doesn't look accidental... Not sure if they expect you to use the restroom through it or perform adult actions, but I wasnt expecting it. I do wear underwear with these things so it's not a huge deal, I'm just not happy with it. The top rolled down all day and wouldn't stay in place. The rubber grips around the top thats supposed to keep it from rolling down actually caused my skin to chafe. I'm not happy that I wasted money on this. The only positives are that it's soft and stretchy and that the legs didn't show through my slacks.

I purchased this garment to smooth the appearance of cellulite, not necessarily for slimming, so I sized up. I like the fact that it reaches well above the waist and down, just above my knees. Not ideal for mini or short dresses, but perfect for maxi and some longer, form fitting dresses. I don’t intend to wear them with pants/slacks, but I imagine that they may work fine.

I have been using this item for over 3 years. Never had an issue. I did not open my package upon receiving it as I've always been very satisfied with this style of shapewear. However, this one did not fit. It is much smaller with less stretch. I did not gain weight, been using this model and size for years. Unfortunately, I opened the package after it was returnable. Did Maidenform chage it's fabrication/material?

Kept rolling down not a good buy as will not wear it again due to it rolling and makes it look lumpy

La gaine ne sert pas assez, et surtout, le haut se retourne et descend au moindre mouvement. Impossible à porter avec une jupe courte.

Es de compresión media, elegir una talla menos, muy buena calidad y muy cómoda a mi me gusta cuando uso vestido para no rosar mis muslos.

I was skeptical when I took them out of the package, but they fit! True to size and super comfortable. I wore them under a dress they didn't roll down and smooth on the legs. Very pleased.
