Surprisingly Good Product!
I bought this to have a larger lens hood on an ultra-zoom on which I would have to stack a couple of filters. The primary two filters (variable ND and circular polarizer) require frequent adjustment. Therefore, easy access to the filters was needed without a lot of fuss with a hood. This hood is very...rubbery, even floppy. But it is quite stable in shape and is extremely flexible in terms of depth and collapsibility. The medium fit on my lens nice and snuggly. I can instantly collapse it back toward the camera for access to the filters, then pull in forward in place just as quickly. Great tool at a great price.

Great idea, lousy execution for what I received
I really wanted this to work and watched several videos, read the good and bad reviews and decided to take a chance. It’s a brilliant concept. Out of the package my hood was squished, the open end was oval, oblong, and floppy. It wasn’t easy to place on the 56mm lens and more challenging on the the 67mm. The end flare of the hood couldn’t get circular. Back it went.

Not easy to use
I bought this to take on a trip to Antarctica hoping it would be easier to use than standard lens hoods. It was not. I have 2 zoom lenses and it is not easy to position it to allow the lens to zoom freely. It took more time to do this than to attach a standard lens hood.

Easy to use and great for travel
Today I received the universal KURVD lens hood Size M 72-112. I immediately tried on on my Leica SL 24-90mm. It fits well and easy to install, but it must sit on the very thin ledge of the lens filter otherwise it affect the zoom full functionality. From 75mm through 90mm zoom there are no problems, from 75mm through 35mm I need to retract back completely the hood because it provide a severe vignetting, from 35mm through 24mm I need to remove the hood because of the persisting vignetting. Using the zoom lens from 90mm through 50mm, the hood is a great tool to make photos through a glass window. It even creates a small vacuum if I press a little bit the lens to the glass, and this helps to stabilize the camera for the shot. It works very well with prime lenses, but you need a bit of adjustments on zoom lenses. The material is great, the hood is easy to clean and super easy to carry in my camera bag already crowded. My final rate? Nice and effective. It does its job.

Economical, versatile and effective
I bought this hood to use on a Nikkor-W 210mm f5.6 lens on a large format view camera. It fit very well and stayed securely attached with no external support. The usual solution is a bellows-type hood with a wire frame that attaches to a beam projecting from the front standard of the camera. By contrast. this filter is made of fan-folded silicone and attaches directly to the lens. Advantages: * Collapses flat * Much more economical to buy * Opens wider * Can be used with any camera the lens/lens board will fit * Can be left on the lens if desired * Nearly indestructible: nothing to crack or rust * Soft, if you happen to run into it while ducking around your tripod Disadvantages: * Must be stretched to attach--be sure your tripod is stable or attach hood to lens before attaching lens to camera * Getting the hood to fold where you want it to can be a bit fiddly * Will hold a round filter--but not necessarily securely. Since I use this lens with both my 4x5" camera and my 5x7" camera, this hood was a natural choice. It collapses flat when attached, and is smaller than the lens board--so it fits right in the storage box. I also shoot miniature and medium format, mainly with Nikon lenses. Would I use this hood instead of the Nikon hood made for the lens? For a prime focus lens, probably not (the Nikon hood exactly matches the angle-view-of the lens, and is often has a square opening). But for a zoom lens, I definitely would. Zoom lenses are portable and versatile, and so is this hood. And having a good hood is especially important with zooms--which usually have many elements and groups--in order to reduce flare (including the insidious kind you can't see but that reduces contrast). Buy one of these great hoods in each size and keep them in your camera bag, and you'll never again be stuck shooting outside without a hood on a bright, sunny day.

Quality ok but careful what you use it on - prime lens ok, zoom not so hot.
A bit awkward to put on and use. Probably ok for a single lens but a zoom creates some issues of the end is bigger than the tube portion of the lens. Should have known better.

An outstanding, well designed lens hood with multiple uses
After researching several different flexible lens hoods I kept coming back to the Kuvrd product. My initial reason for purchasing this type of lens hood was to take pictures through windows - and avoid the dreaded glare. I was able to install the hood successfully on several of my Sony lenses (16-35 f/4, 35mm f/1.4, 24-105mm f/4 and 70-200mm f/2.8). The fit of the product is perfect on the end of all lenses. I'm now using the hood in rainy environments to keep the front element dry - there is absolutely no way for the rain to seep in between the hood and lens. Of course the hood is perfect for getting rid of lens flare. There is a slight bit of vignetting when shooting at 16mm but it's no big deal as you can easily fix this issue by folding back one section of the hood. I love how the hood folds down flat taking up minimal space in my camera back pack. This is a well designed, high quality product that comes with a lifetime replacement warranty - I highly recommend this product.

Must be paid reviews, because this product doesn't work
This hood is so flimsy and floppy that it won't hold a filter without severly sagging - obvious problem! It's a real pain to get on. You can't put it on with a lens cap on, or you won't be able to take the cap off and with all the stretch required (I purchased the correct size for my lens) you will end up touching your lens and have to clean the prints. I had high hopes but this is just a gimmick product. I was really disappointed to have to pay return shipping (it wasn't prime) on such a poor quality product. Won't buy another non-prime product again and I don't recommend this product.

I so wanted this to work for me, I often shoot through glass in zoos etc and wanted an easy option to prevent the glare. However, both my telephoto lenses just wouldn't allow the hood to stay in place. If you pull it right down the lens you then can't retract the lens to its shortest length as the rubber is in the way, pulling it any further away from the camera results in it immediately falling off. Sadly it was returned. Lenses I tried it on are the EF100-400 Canon L and the RF 24-105 L.

Neither fitted correctly onto the two lenses and required them for.

Eagerly waiting for this product and it arrived on the day I was leaving for a 14-day wildlife trip. I wanted to leave the lens hoods of my RF200-800 and RF100-500 zoom lenses at home. The seller's claim that it fits 99% of lenses is false as it was a struggle to put it on my lens and the rubber tore in the process. I would definitely not recommend this product.

I'm not sure what the manufacturer means by "fits 99%" if lenses but this hood did not fit a single standard Canon lens without creating one issue or another. 1. Extremely tight fit around the lens, leaving absolutely no room for the lens gears to move freely. 2. Putting and removing the hood is extremely difficult, cannot be done on the fly as it's rubbery texture makes it hard to adjust. 3. Material is weak, mine had a rip in it after trying to fit it on a Canon 70-200 and this is after handling it very carefully. Overall this product fails to deliver the promise by the manufacturer that its easy to use and fits lost lenses. It is very difficult ads, don't even think about using it in high speed situations. And when it's on, it's extremely difficult to adjust.
