to keep you from having dry mouth when you sleep. My dentist recommended because he said that dry mouth at night instigates cavity formation. The shape fits comfortably between cheek and gum and seems to stay put when I sleep. I was worried that it would be rattling around in my mouth and present a choking hazard, but it stays put so I have gotten more comfortable with the idea od sleeping with a lozenge in my mouth. Flavor is not bad, wish it were something like spearmint or something. They have an odd mint taste that I can't really identify. Not disgusting though, but probably will never be a favorite flavor for me.

These are so practical to carry in your purse or pockets when rinse is not available. I have several medications that cause dry mouth and it’s really awful. You just pop one in your mouth and you get instant relief.
