Realmente es un peso pesado. Textura ideal para técnica seca y posibilidad de técnica húmeda. Sirve deliciosamente para ambas. Gran calidad.

Por suerte el papel llegó sin daño pero en un embalaje realmente muy débil. Deberían cuidar más ese detalle. Dicho esto, es un papel estupendo, el más pesado que he podido encontrar hasta ahora para mis futuras obras en acuarela.

This is a very thick paper that I use for watercolor. It can take acrylic as well, but I like that it doesn't warp.

Le bloc en lui même est très bien et mérite 5 étoile. Les étoiles manquantes sont pour le vendeur et le mauvais emballage ... une simple plastique qui ne protège pas le bloc à dessin. Le colis semblait intact en arrivant mais en ouvrant mauvaise surprise ! Coins abimés et bloc cassé et disloqué ! Je vais être obligé de recouper les feuilles... vu le prix du bloc c'est une honte !!! Tout ça pour économiser le prix d'un emballage correct !!

It's a shame that Amazon doesn't carry this paper - i.e. the Strathmore 500 series - in a thinner version and full 22" x 30" sheets, which always turn out so much more economical. From what I read the paper is stellar and performs really well with watercolors however the 550 gsm is too expensive for plain sketchbook work and not final pieces. I decided not to keep it and returned it unopened but I really hope Amazon can get a wider range of this one. Not the 300 or 400 series, but exactly this one, the 500 in watercolor version or mixed media version, AND vellum surface. As someone who does botanical painting, the vellum surface, like the one here, is my go-to.
