The actual bolt is excellent in every way. Robustly built and solid. however, beware of using the supplied black screws which were near enough unusable and soft metal. despite pre drilling holes in the wood and using new and correct screwdriver bits, made no difference. The screw heads were easily chewed up and the screws were basically useless. Even on a controlled slow speed drill with constant pressure to avoid slipping of the screw bit, the srew heads failed. Screwing by hand did not improve things. This is no reflection on the seller as goods arrived quickly and well packaged. Use your own quality screws and assemble in 5 minutes instead of an hour of pulling your hair out.

Robust gate latch
A lot more sturdy than our previous gate bolt. Easy to fit and operate, with added security of being able to attaching a padlock through the bolt.

Solid Bolt with a 4” Throw
Solid and compact door or gate bolt , not sure how strong the welds are? But the bolt does come out nearly 4” useful to bridge gaps between door and post. Can be locked with a padlock. This will be used on our garage over and under door.

Il prodotto è valido. L'ho usato per sostituire un vecchio chiavistello che si bloccava. Le viti sono buone, e si fissano facilmente nel legno. Il chiavistello è robusto e pesante. Un ottimo acquisto proporzionato al prezzo.

Cerrojo aparentemente fuerte. Se supone de acero inox 304, en mi zona no hay salinidad luego debería durar a la intemperie. Esta duración está por probar.
