Working with nvr properly Toshiba warranty valid for 2 years and few weeks its ok amazon provided 3 years warranty with purchase.

I bought it for my CCTV camera decoder, it working perfectly

I received the item broken - returned it already. SATA cable was not included as part of shipping.

I received this hard disk today and as soon as I plugged it in it was making a screeching noise, not showing up on devices either. My best bet is it’s damaged. Would not recommend

Ne ho ordinati 2 da Warehouse per sostituire gli HD vecchiotti del mio PC, ma attenzione non arriva il modello S300 ma N300 (S sta per Surveillance, quindi videosorveglianza; mentre gli N sono la serie NAS). Nel mio caso, va benissimo così, nel senso che per il mio uso forse la variante NAS è anche leggermente più adeguata, ma chi cerca espressamente il Toshiba S300 da 4tb è meglio che lo sappia. Per il resto ottimo disco, veloce per essere da NAS (7200 rpm), un filo rumoroso forse ma per me non è un problema. Sulla cover antistatica c'è scritto "August 2020", bisognerà vedere poi cosa comporta per la garanzia conToshiba.
