Does this work on Ubuntu 14.04?

It is compatible with newer version Ubuntu16.04 and 18.04 and later version, it also supports Linux Mint / Debian / Raspbian / Kali-Linux / Xubuntu and Lubuntu...etc. Please note that we provide Linux Support Ticket for this model and 2 years warranty. Will it work with a raspberry pi 4b? i have the 2018 board where only the wifi doesn't work. it see the wifi, but it won't attach. will this help it?

Is this brostrend ac1l plug-and-play compatible with linux mint 20, or does it need "compiling" or other actions to work?
