unbelievable!! Why did I not get it sooner??? The price was great as AMazon had $100 off. It's pricey but so much worth it as I have replaced nonstick pans over and over again. After heating up it doesn't stick very much and easy to wash. Nice and big and retains heat so well. I am in love with it!!

I'm middle aged and this is my first expensive/quality pan. It has made such a difference for me, I love cooking with it. I bought it specifically because 1) I needed a 14" pan for larger amounts of ingredients and, 2) my non stick pans produced so much liquid that never evaporated, so I had terrible difficulty reducing the liquid in a recipe, or by the time I did, the other ingredients, particularly veggies, were mushy and unappealing. Sometimes I had to resort to spilling out some of the liquid rather than wait for it to reduce. With this pan, that's no longer a problem. It is, however, very heavy, but it has 2 handles to deal with that issue. While some reviewers complain the long handle can't support the weight of the pan's body, it's hard to imagine what size handle would accomplish that feat. It's already too heavy and unwieldy a pan to lift with one hand without becoming unbalanced or causing actual pain to your wrist or shoulder. It's for that reason the pan has a second handle on the other side! I think the thin handle is simply meant for maneuvering it on the cooktop, or shaking the ingredients. If you read the directions, you should never cook at a high heat, and you should never use non-stick spray, as those affect the appearance of the cooking surface. To that, I was told that if your cookware is well-used and well-loved, it's not going to look like new except when it's new. I am toying with the idea of buying the product specific for cleaning all-clad stainless, but I think I'll stick with vinegar and baking soda instead, after soaking it in hot water... I do not hang my pans on display so have little concern for their appearance. On balance, I love the pan and feel sad that I have cooked for so many decades with crappy cookware.

Absolutely the best cookware. It is expensive but worth the price.
