in the past I have used many chargers for sony camera, but this one is something new as it charges battery of usb and car charger. you can charge the battery on move with powerbank. fully discharged Fw50 battery charges under 3 hours. even though its Chinese built quality the purpose get solved at fraction of cost. the fit & finish could have been little better.

Very good product working perfectly

Bought this for some 700 rupees with two batteries for 1900. Was expecting to have a bellow average bundle as a backup for the sony original FW50. I just wanted a decent backup for the original which can give me some few extra minutes. When I received this, it turned out to be an excellent piece of packaging and finishing. By finishing means I have just touched it and I felt cheap plastic and very lightweight but even after that the build and the finishing is great. After a few sec I realized it doesn't feel like a very cheap product. Looking at the price, the batteries are very good indeed. Not better than the original ofcourse, the price is five times smaller but the output is just a little bit less than the original, that's quite good. And the best part of the charger is type-c charging port. Man, you guys really need to market this feature, this is a cherry on top, loved this the most, one can charge these batteries with literally any mobile charger that is available near you. Even it can be charged with a powerbank.. Charging time is very fast. Even this charger can charge my original sony as well. Overall a very very good product, it seems as of now. Have to use them more to see how the consistent they are.

Charges but the battery does not retain charge for long period.

I had purchased this to charge my Nikon D5100 batteries(En-el 14) as my nikon charger went bust after 3 years. As soon as I received the product, I tried charging my nikon batteries. To my surprise it did not work. So I tried charging my phone & secondary cam (Olympus) batteries and it worked flawlessly. Just to ensure I took my friends En-el 14 battery and tried charging that, but that did not work either. So, in summary, this is a good product to charge mobiles and most camera battery. However, if you intend to use this to charge En-El 14 (Nikon DSLR battery), I would suggest staying away. I returned this product as it did not suit my purpose.
